One more mention about custom controls in the Flickr Browser demo from Amir & Manuel-

Those custom controls? Some of them are side projects I did when I got bored and get posted here before the designers at work even see them. That's how my source control works- I just post the stuff on my blog, go to work, download the samples and show them to the designers.

Of course my descriptions and samples sorta suck, so it takes a bit of an imagination to figure out what to do with them, but you get the point.
